Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to report Burglary Other Nothing to report Theft of motor vehicle Between 4.00pm on Sunday 24 and 12.12pm on Monday 25 May in North Street, Huthwaite, Sutton in Ashfield, a red Volkswagen Golf was stolen. Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Nothing to report Robbery Around 5.20pm on Wednesday 27 May in Balwant Drive, Sutton in Ashfield, two friends were ridding their bikes when two males on motorbikes came up and demanded the victim give them his e-bike. He refused and was then threatened and an attempt was made to ram him with a motorbike so he handed the orange Giant Stance E2 bike to them. His friend was also threatened but his bike was not taken. This happened near the reservoir and the attackers made off towards Sherwood Way South. Both attackers were white, one in a white t-shirt, shorts and a helmet the second dressed all in black and a helmet. Criminal Damage Between 1.00pm and 5.00pm on Tuesday 19 May in the Co-op car park, Marketplace, Huthwaite, Sutton in Ashfield, the paint work on both sides of a car was ‘keyed’. The same car was damaged at this location between 8.00am and 11.00am on Saturday 23 May. At 4.30pm on Monday 25 May in West Hill, Skegby, Sutton in Ashfield, a green Audi car, parked at the roadside, was damaged with an axe. A deep cut was made in the roof with damage to other parts of the car. At 10.00pm on Monday 25 May in Buttery Lane, Teversal, Sutton in Ashfield, a field fence was broken down and motorbikes were ridden into the field of barley. ASB At 7.39pm on Monday 25 May at Lakeside Point Retail Park, Lakeside View, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of a white male, 40’s, chubby, covered in tattoos, shirtless, wearing grey joggers, who was drunk, possibly on drugs, being confrontational and intimidating. At 8.49pm on Tuesday26 May in Elderfield Drive, Sutton in Ashfield a report of a bunch of teenagers staring into the house and swearing at the caller before knocking on the windows and running off. At 12.47am on Wednesday 27 May in Stoneyford Road, Sutton in Ashfield, someone kicked the callers door and walked away. At 2.17pm on Wednesday 27 May in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of ongoing issues with a group of children messing around in the VS Convenience Store and refusing to leave when asked.
